Girls who walk aberdeen

Girls Who Walk Aberdeen is a community-led group for women aged 18+ who want to get outside, meet new people and feel part of a supportive, welcoming community.

We organise gentle, social walks across Aberdeen, alongside coffee meet-ups, creative workshops and relaxed social events. Our activities are designed to be low-pressure and inclusive — there’s no expectation to keep up, no pressure to talk the whole time, and no need to come with a friend. Many people join us on their own.

Our focus is on connection, wellbeing and belonging. You’re encouraged to walk at your own pace, dip in and out of conversations, or simply enjoy being outdoors with friendly faces. You can come along as often or as little as you like.

If you’ve ever felt nervous about showing up somewhere new, you’re not alone — and you’ll always be met with kindness here.

Come for a walk, stay for the connection.
